Janne Aare
​WHY IS FREEFORM FUN? A HANDS-ON INTRODUCTION TO FREEFORM
​I’m a software engineer and UX designer from Tampere. I love games, movies, photography, and all sorts of creative activities. Improv has been part of my life for 6 years now. I did my first scenes in the shady bars and sunny mountain sides of Barcelona. In Finland I have practiced and performed with various people and styles on bars, university auditoriums, grassy fields on sunny days, summer cabins and theatre stages. My role has varied from student, co-actor, director, instructor, to just being one of the friends having fun. What I like about improv is this variety and the close connection to the audience. I’m constantly exploring ways to make improv more engaging to practice and always looking forward to the next show with excitement.
Janne Lesonen
​8 Characters of Comedy
​Janne Lesonen is a veteran player of the English improv community of Tampere, Finland. He’s also an actor, music journalist, an unofficial ambassador of Pit Viper sunglasses and a duke of good times. He also travels and performs around Europe with his energetic team Doris Likes Everything. Ever since Janne started to teach and coach improv, he has fully-heartedly approached improv through fun & freedom and believes that in the end everything comes down to the joy of playing. On-stage Janne is a fearlessly playful performer who loves to follow all things fun! Off-stage Janne can be found digging crates in local record stores, acting on funny commercials, playing Playstation, adoring cats, reading about weird stuff or hanging out with his cool friends.
Eveliina Vulkko
Feel good in an improv group
Eve originally fell in love with long form improv back in 2010. Since then she has performed an coahced in various improv groups and she has also taught improv classes to teenagers and adults.

Eve studies drama education and has started her own improv company, Improteatteri Meri, in Kotka. In improv Eve enjoys connection with her coplayers and the audience and a mix of truhtful and absolutely bonker stories.
